VALENTINES DAY!
A Mr and Miss Valentine competition was held on Saturday, 14 February 2009 during our Valentine’s Day dance.
The winners are as follows:
- 3de princess - Mariska Mizen
- 2de princess - Anneke Nel
- Miss Valentine - Carla Basson
- 3de prince - Vivian Mpondo
- 2de prince - Hendrik Brown
- Mr Valentine - Abraham Baartman
The evening was a huge success and everyone enjoyed it immensely. All the ladies looked beautiful and the men were very smart.
There was also a competition for the Valentine’s Couple of the Year.
8 Couples entered and Abraham Baartman and Heslyn Petersen were crowned as Couple of the Year.
After the coronation ceremony and photos a word of thanks was presented to all involved. The residents could hardly wait for the dance to begin after the formalities.
Everybody joined in and had a wonderful evening dancing, chatting and socializing with one another.
Thank you once again to one and all who contributed towards this event, it is really appreciated. We hope to have such a successful evening again in 2010.
