VALENTINE NIGHT RACE
A Valentine Night Race is held every year on 13th February.
Three years ago, we entered the race with 3 residents. It was very exciting. The following year we entered again with some of the residents and the interest in the race grew.
This year 11 residents participated. Lucky draws were also held after the race and some of our residents won lovely prizes.
The men entered the race while our female residents attempted the Fun Walk. The race went well until we reached the Heuwel Café route, Worcester’s own Polly Shorts.
There we all started to huff and puff, literally and figuratively. Luckily, after much sweating, we reached the finish line in time to receive bronze medals.
The men boasted silver medals for finishing the race in time.
