Guinea Fowl "drop!

We held a fete with various activities on Saturday 5 September. The highlight was the guinea fowl ‘drop’. The parking area was divided into smaller blocks, numbered and then sold.

Three guinea fowl were caught and released in the marked parking area to see where they would ‘drop’. The person who had bought the block that the bird ‘dropped’ on won a prize. Plan B was brought into play when the birds did not co-operate by ‘dropping’ in the marked area.

Small parachutes with guinea fowl ‘droppings’ in an egg were thrown onto the marked area and the block that the parachute landed on won the prize.
