Wheelchair challenge
APD held a wheelchair competition in the Mountain Mill Mall for the purpose of:
“Making people aware of the fact that it is not so easy to be in a wheelchair”
On Wednesday 17 November 2010, five of our staff members took part in the challenge.
There was a lot of cheering, applause and a huge amount of noise.
Lewensruimte for the Deaf’s team members held our name high by all coming out on top and we therefore qualified for the lucky draw. Our team really gave their all to get up that ramp. It was a wonderful team effort!
