WORKSHOPS ON DIVERSITY OF HEARING LOSS

No two people are the same.

All boys don’t like big trucks. Not all girls love the colour pink. From early on our mothers have to figure out what to cook for dinner to keep everyone satisfied. And because of our differences as people, we also have different needs.

Through PEA sessions we aim to inform people on the diversity of people with hearing loss.

Though there are categories of hearing loss such as:
Deafness (pre and post lingual)
and Hearing Impairment (being mild to severe)
hearing loss differs from individual to individual. And so does their preferred method of communication. This is the message of the workshops on diversity.
