RESEARCH

DeafNET Centre of Knowledge employs a full-time Researcher. The function of the Researcher is to ensure that all information distributed by DeafNET is scientifically sound and of an international standard.

The Researcher explores all issues pertaining to hearing loss, from birth through to post-retirement age. Communication methods, assistive devices, human rights issues, mental health, and HIV/Aids are amongst the research foci of DeafNET.
