TRUSTS

Since its inception in 1881, the National Institute for the Deaf in Worcester is well known in South Africa and beyond for it's high educational standards and extensive services rendered to Deaf people of all ages. NID follows a holistic approach towards serving the Deaf and people with hearing loss in South Africa from the cradle to the grave.

Almost everyone knows a hearing impaired person or relative who is in need of our specialised services. You can personally contribute towards the continual availability of these quality services and care.

Grants or donations during your lifetime, or by way of a bequest to the Institute for the Deaf, will enable us to continue these essential services.

Donations will bear the following benefits for the donor:

  • The value of the grant can be exempted from donor tax and estate duties
  • If you comply with certain requirements and regulations of the Income Tax Act, the grant will be tax deductible.
  • A Bursary/Fund can be named after the donor
