DEF (Deaf Ecumenical Forum)-CONFERENCE
The second ecumenical conference of almost all the Christian denominations, congregations and work groups of Deaf from all over the country was held in May in Bellville. The next meeting will be held next year DV in Pretoria.
Approximately 40 of the 50 delegates were Deaf. Ministers, pastors and priests from congregations as well as leaders are willing to join hands, to respect each other's field of work, to support and to plan together in order to reach the 400 000 Deaf in Southern Africa who have never heard the Gospel.
