UPHOLSTERY

Basic Restoration of wooden furniture:

• Repair and strip old varnish and paint.
• Furniture is newly varnished or painted.

Basic Upholstery:

• Repair and cover the seat of any dining room or office chair - solid base or webbing.
• Make any form of ottoman with or without lids, with shallow or deep buttons.
• Fully upholstered chair or sofa with or without wingback.
• Mastering household and industrial machine techniques, including any cushions eg hamburger cushion, box cushion or normal cushions.
• Basic techniques for covering taxi and motor seats with or without stitching.

Workplace:

• Basic workplace organising and planning.
• Workplace skills.
