STUDENT DEMOGRAPHIC FOR 2009

The NID College has seen steady growth every year since its inception in 2001. This year, 2009, is no different. We have our largest number of students yet and have satellites in operation in three provinces of South Africa. Young Deaf people come here to attain skills and qualifications.

With students from almost every province, we are truly an accurate representation of our country’s Deaf demography. We are incredibly proud of our status as the only college for the Deaf in South Africa and it seems our reputation has spread to the rest of Africa as well with our largest number of international students ever.

From countries such as Angola, Zambia and Dubai we are truly bridging a gap and fulfilling a desperate need among the Deaf.
