WEAR PINK FOR BREAST CANCER!

The National Institute for the Deaf College held a ‘Wear Pink Day’ on Wednesday 20 October in support of the National Breast Cancer Awareness month.

The winners of an NID College / CANSA Raffle Competition were drawn and 100% of the income was donated to CANSA. The winners are: Thabisa Molo and Zanele Bulose (both NID College students).

In the photo you can see the female students as well as the interpreter, ms Elsa Maritz, with ms Weena Cupido from CANSA Worcester (back row, fourth from left).

Ms Cupido presented an educational talk on Breast and Cervical Cancer at the College.
